Rice hulls are the shell that surrounds the grain of rice. Our processor hammer mills these hulls into a granular form that we incorporate into our compound.

A unique characteristic of the rice hull is that it is naturally flame resistant. Rice hulls will not flame up. When burning occurs they only smolder.
